Under the management of the president, Mr Jean-Claude PERRAUT, the association of old industrial and agricultural vehicles (AVAIA in French) regroups about 30 members, all animated by a same passion, the hobby for old machineries.

Created more than 10 years ago, in 1997, in the geographical department of Allier (03), AVAIA has for main objective the safeguard, the safekeeping and the valorization of old vehicles. It is an atypical association.

It takes care of a heritage of more than 150 vehicles and very different machineries that make it so singular, firstly in the department of Allier but also in France. You can judge by yourself, the association regroups plenty of agricultural equipments, trucks, buses, military, fire vehicles and even civil engineering equipments... All that will make passionate people happy !

About communication, AVAIA makes a lot. It does each year one's part for several local festivities by showing vehicles related to a theme (agriculture, firemen, soldiers...) but also organizes its own feasts. The last biggest one took place at the St Prix village (department 03) the 11 and 12th of october 2014 and received more than 2500 visitors.

By partaking of Auvergne festivities and even of national exhibitions like the well-known Ferté-Alais meeting near Paris, AVAIA tries to show its know-how and to make itself better known from common people and authorities in order to attract new partners, agreed to invest in a museum project begun in January 2009 on the site of an old buttons manufacture in the village of Saint Prix (Allier) bought by four AVAIA members at the end of 2008.
